Who are Twinkle & Me?

Twinkle & Me is a UK-based handmade clothing boutique specialising in clothes for children aged 0-8 years. Twinkle & Me is run by me, Auntie Nikki, but inspired by my six year old niece Taylor (nicknamed Twinkle!). Read more about our story.

How can I contact you?

We love a good natter so if you want to talk to us you can send an email via out contact form or get in touch via our Instagram or Facebook pages.

Where are your clothes made?

We are very lucky to have a little sewing studio on the pretty Kent coast. All of our items are measured, cut, sewn, packaged and posted from here!

Ordering

What is the difference between the two collections?

Ready-made items are items we’ve already made – this means they’re ready to post next-day! Often you’ll find fabrics in the ready-made collection that we’re unable to offer in the Custom Collection.

The Custom Collection is our full range of clothing. When ordering from the Custom Collection you specify the item and it’s configurable options, the size and what fabric you want it made in – a completely custom item for your little one!

How do I order from your website?

In the Ready Made collection you simply add the item(s) you wish to purchase to your cart and check out. 

In the Custom Collection you can choose the size, fabric and any customisation (such as sleeve type) to create a bespoke product specifically for you. These items are made to order so have a longer turnaround time (usually 10-14 days).

Which fabrics can I choose?

On each product page you will find a big gallery of fabrics available to choose from for that particular item. If you don’t see something that suits then put your little ones favourite colours and hobbies and we’ll make some suggestions!

We continually add fabrics to the range when we find new ones that make us squeal with excitement and we’ll post these to our Instagram and Facebook accounts so follow us to keep up-to-date.

Do you take orders for clothes that aren’t in your product range?

I’m afraid not. We do continue to develop new ranges so if you have something in mind that we don’t already feature then get in touch. If we decide to make it as a product range we might even name it after your little one!

Sizing and care instructions

How do I know which size to choose?

On each product page you will find a sizing chart and a guide on how to measure your child. We strongly advise you check the sizing of each product as sizes vary across product ranges.

If your child is between sizes we suggest ordering the bigger size so you can enjoy the product for longer. If you’re not sure what size to order get in touch and we can help with this.

How do I measure my little one?

How should I wash your clothes?

All of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. We do not recommend tumble drying any of our Imogen, Taylor, Thumper or Harley products as the jersey fabric may shrink.

Shipping and returns

Where do you ship to?

We ship to the UK and Internationally so you can get your hands on our gorgeous clothes no matter where you live in the world.

How long will it take for me to receive my items?

On most occasions ready-made items will be shipped next-day by 2nd class recorded delivery.

From the custom collection we will always provide an estimated timescale on placing your order. Generally we aim to have your item with you in 10 – 14 days, this depends on a number of factors though. Because of our large range of fabric options we can’t stock every fabric – so we may need to order in the fabric for your specific item(s). Timescales also depend on how busy we are and where in the world you live.

If you need to receive an item in a hurry please get in touch and we can discuss whether we are able to expedite your order.

How will my order be shipped?

We send our items out wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a mailing box to ensure it gets to you safely. The bigger your order, the bigger the box!

All items are sent via Royal Mail Second Class Recorded.

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days from receiving the item to change your mind and return the item for a refund (excluding postage). Items must be in the condition they were received in and not been worn or washed. Please contact us regarding your wish to return an item.

If you receive an item that has a fault please get in touch with us  immediately.
